In 1970, Don Cleto’s son Alberto Reyes joined his father's endeavors with a strong entrepreneurial vision. By 1975, Alberto Reyes had registered CLETO REYES as a brand name and established Industria Reyes S.A. de C.V. in 1979.

Today, Cleto Reyes products hold a prominent position in the international market, being exported to five continents.

In 1990, the company received recognition from the Secretary of Commerce and Industrial Promotion for being a highly exporting business. The following year, Mexico’s Export Bank commended them for their efforts to diversify the international market. The same year, they presented the INTEREXPORT/card in collaboration with Bancomext and other leading institutions. In 1994, Cleto Reyes was honored with Mexico’s National Exports Award, and in 2008, the World Boxing Hall of Fame recognized their contributions to the sport.
